Default Funny story from haunted house days...

When I was younger, I worked at a haunted house for a couple of years...many funny stories came of this..but nothing funnier than this one..

I was in my usual spot in the house - the last "monster" to be seen before you make it out alive. We would have a box full of masks to choose from, and we really could dress however we wanted. I usually picked whatever looked scary (didn't really matter to me which one)... Anyways, I am a pretty tall guy (6'6"), so when you see me running after you, it's pretty scary.

Anyways, so I have this spot near the end of the house where I can actually scare people twice. There was this "scary" hallway that people walked through before they got to my section. It was pretty wide open, so it was kind of worthless to try and scare anybody there. At the end of this hallway, there was this curve. When you go around this curve, there is a half wall with a halloween prop in it. So, I could scare people there. Once they pass me, they go through another zig-zaggy pattern. There was a 'secret' door I could go through to scare them again....or of course I could chase them out of the house itself.

So this particular time, I decide to chill and wait under this half wall (with the prop behind me). I hear the next group coming down the long hallway - so I get ready. I hear this guy coming around the corner (with a girl and two other guys). So I jump out of my half wall and start running at him with a prop knife. The guy looked like he was scared out of his mind so he starts running backwards. He must have not realized how much space there was between him and the wall...he "ran" backwards directly into the wall. Well, the wall was no match for him. He hit the wall extremely hard, and he literally fell through the wall. Now, mind you this haunted house was in a trailer that was hoisted about 5 ft off the ground, and this was an outside wall of the trailer. So this guy goes through the wall, and falls 5 feet to the ground on the outside of the trailer. The look on the guys face was absolutely classic. His girl friend just started laughing incredibly hard and his friends just started giving him crap about breaking the wall. I think he was probably drunk of something.

He ended up being alright...we had to shut down the house for like 45 mins while they fixed the wall..

Default Haunted House

Nice...lol. I went to a haunted house once with my mom, sisters, aunt and cousins. It was a haunted barn actually..anyway, it was pretty scary..so my mom walked all the way through it saying really loud--"We have small kids, don't scare them!"...so it ended up not being scary at all. I'm sure the workers thought my mom was pretty lame!

Haha..nice. Yeah, we used to have people do that when I used to work at the house...Some of the workers didn't care...they still tried to scare them =)
